Logan Learning Lab 2021
A Program of The Logan School for Creative Learning
From the website: The Logan Learning Lab (the “Lab”) is a summer enrichment program of The Logan School for Creative Learning designed to provide unique, engaging experiences for underrepresented gifted students in the Denver metro area. There is a growing body of research demonstrating both the under-identification of and the dearth of tailored learning supports for gifted students from underserved backgrounds including African-American, Latinx, Native, immigrant, and low-income students.
This directly aligns with the mission of The Logan School, which is to provide an experience- based educational opportunity for gifted children of all backgrounds that allows each child to develop individually to his or her full potential. We are planning a 2-week summer intensive where Lab students can engage in hands-on, inquiry-based learning in a personal area of interest. Students will spend time on the Logan campus and out in the community. At the end, students will share their portfolio and other works with visitors at an “EXPO.”
