Governor proclaims African Immigrant Month during Afrik Impact

Colorado Governor Jared Polis issued a proclamation today making August African Immigrant Month in the state.

Polis issued the proclamation at the start of the Afrik Impact Business and Economic Summit, held Aug. 20 both virtually and at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Polis also provided important information for small business owners about state loan and grant programs that have been launched in response to the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
