Congratulations to the 10th public speaking graduating class!

The African Leadership Group would like to congratulate the amazing students of the Public Speaking Class who graduated Saturday, February 19, 2022. This was ALG’s tenth Public Speaking Class cohort. The evening was filled with joy, laughter, tears, and motivation as the students took us on a journey with their presentations.

In attendance at the event were the 14 graduates and their families, and community members. We were honored with Dr. Thierno Thiam as the keynote speaker. He delivered  a message to motivate, inspire and encourage the students to continue with their public speaking journey and to become effective future leaders in their community.

The Public Speaking Class is one of ALG’s initiatives to meet the needs of our communities. The course prepares students for a variety of situations where formal and informal presentations are required. The goal of this class is to help students overcome their fear of speaking in public and to build their content, character and confidence.

You can now register for the next 12-week Public Speaking Class, which begins Tuesday March 15, 2022, by clicking here.
