ALG is an established Colorado nonprofit of 15 years created to serve the entire African immigrant community to help improve their quality of life. We do it through social, education and economic programs such as youth empowerment and public speaking classes reaching thousands of individuals. Every year during the month of August, we celebrate loudly and proudly the impact African immigrants have in the state of Colorado.

ALG health fair reached those who needed services most
Thanks to several indispensable community partners like Walgreens, the Inner City Health Center, Quest Diagnostics, and UCHealth, we were able to provide free flu vaccines to 95 people, and blood screenings to another 86 people who might not otherwise have access to such services, as well as immunizations and consultations.
ALG Resource Fair served 300 new arrivals
When the African Leadership Group held a resource fair October 27 at its Aurora headquarters, it had serving people like Nourou in mind. Thanks to generous donations from individuals and businesses, the resource fair provided 300 recent arrivals with clothing, food and other staples to help them prepare for their new life here, and for the looming winter.
