Hemoglobin A1c Screening
A1C is a blood screening that measures your average blood sugar control for the past 2 to 3 months. The results give you a good idea of whether or not you are at risk for diabetes. For people with diabetes, it indicates how well your diabetes treatment plan is working.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) Screening
A CMP is a blood test that checks how your body’s organs are working, especially your liver and kidneys. It also measures blood sugar, protein, and electrolyte levels. This test can help find problems like diabetes, liver disease, or kidney disease early, and gives a big-picture view of your overall health. It’s a simple way to learn how well your body is working on the inside.
Complete Blood Count [CBC] Screening
A Complete Blood Count [CBC] screening is a simple blood test that helps give a “snapshot” of your overall health. It looks at the main parts of your blood—like red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets—to see how your body is doing. This test can help spot things like anemia (low blood count), infections, or other health concerns early on. It’s quick, easy, and gives helpful information about your wellness.
Lipid Panel [Cholesterol] Screening
A lipid screening is a simple blood test that checks your cholesterol and triglyceride levels. These numbers show how much “good” and “bad” cholesterol you have, which can affect your heart health. The test helps identify your risk for heart disease, stroke, and other health problems. It’s a quick way to learn more about your heart and take steps toward staying healthy.
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) Screening
A TSH test is a blood test that checks how well your thyroid is working. The thyroid is a small gland in your neck that controls your body’s energy, metabolism, and mood. This test measures the level of thyroid-stimulating hormone in your blood, which helps detect thyroid problems like an overactive or underactive thyroid. It’s a quick way to learn if your thyroid is in balance and supporting your overall health.
Vitamin D Screening
The Vitamin D Panel is a simple blood test that measures the level of vitamin D in your body. Vitamin D plays an important role in keeping bones, muscles, and the immune system strong. Low vitamin D levels can increase the risk of bone weakness, fatigue, and certain long-term health conditions.

Blood Pressure Screening
This screening gives you your blood pressure reading. Blood pressure is the force in the arteries when the heart beats (systolic pressure) and when the heart is at rest (diastolic pressure). Blood pressure can fluctuate with exercise, injury, illness, and emotional reactions. Health care professionals check the participant’s blood pressure. If the participant’s blood pressure falls outside normal ranges, further evaluation by a healthcare provider is encouraged. Your blood pressure should not exceed 119/79. Pulse Screening is primarily measured on the participant’s wrist. The pulse corresponds to each beat of the heart. The normal number of pulse beats per minute in the average adult varies from 60 to 80, with fluctuations occurring with exercise, injury, illness and emotional reactions.
Flu Shots
Influenza commonly known as the flu vaccine will be available.
Ask a Medical Question and Get a Referral [one-on-one]
This is stationed at multiple booths and will provide you with the opportunity to speak one-on-one with a health professional and ask questions about any health issue concerning you or your family. During this session the health professional may review your overall health fair results, make recommendations for further evaluation, setting realistic goals with the individual, and provide referrals and resources for more information and/or education.
Height/Weight/Body Mass Index (BMI) Screening
This screening provides you with your Body Mass Index (BMI), using your height, weight and waist measurement to identify your risk for heart disease, stroke and diabetes. BMI is considered reliable for assessing obesity. It does not take into account a person’s fat-to-muscle ratio (muscle takes up space but weighs more than fat). Therefore, it is not a reliable measure for athletes or highly physically active participants.
