The African Leadership Group Health & Wellness Committee, Colorado Black Health Collaborative, and Centura Health are joining forces to bring you a FREE flu shot event on November 14, 2020 from 9 am – 1 pm.
It will be held at the African Leadership Group Center, 10700 E. Evans Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014 at Mountain View United Church.
It is flu season! The flu is a viral infection that attacks the lungs, nose, and throat. It can spread from person to person. The best way to protect yourself and those you love against the flu is to get the flu shot every season.
This year, it is more important than ever to get the flu shot and keep yourself and others healthy. Whether you work on the frontlines- a care center, a school, etc., have chronic diseases, or are healthy, it is still very, very important to protect yourself and others from getting the flu.
I got my flu shot a few weeks ago. I would love for you to join me on Saturday to get YOUR flu shot.
We welcome everyone, BUT if you are ill please do not come to the event. Wear a mask to the event and know that we will be practicing social distancing (6 feet apart).
