ALG is an established Colorado nonprofit of 15 years created to serve the entire African immigrant community to help improve their quality of life. We do it through social, education and economic programs such as youth empowerment and public speaking classes reaching thousands of individuals. Every year during the month of August, we celebrate loudly and proudly the impact African immigrants have in the state of Colorado.

ALG’S International Women’s Day Celebration

Dear Community Members,
International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. Our theme this year is “Inspiring Inclusion and The Rise of Our Women“.
The time for change is now! Join ALG’s Women Empowerment committee on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Denver Botanic Gardens in Mitchell Hall, as we come together to celebrate women’s achievements and rally behind the call to “Invest in the Rise of Our Women”.
This event will showcase powerful women and youth in our communities.
