ALG is an established Colorado nonprofit of 15 years created to serve the entire African immigrant community to help improve their quality of life. We do it through social, education and economic programs such as youth empowerment and public speaking classes reaching thousands of individuals. Every year during the month of August, we celebrate loudly and proudly the impact African immigrants have in the state of Colorado.

Public Speaking, Leadership 101 to Leadership Africa…Madiama Mbaye

African Leadership Group’s Public Speaking Initiative: to meet the objectives outlined in ALG’s mission statement – helping the African diaspora integrate and prosper by connecting cultures, developing strong community leaders, and advocating for economic, social and educational impact.
We are proud to present our very own, Madiama (Majama) Mbaye, known and beloved to us as Professor who leads ALG’s Public Speaking Class and Leadership 101. With so many lives that he impacted through the program, Professor was inspired by MANY to write a book, sharing his story!

Please join us as we celebrate one of our success stories on Saturday, January 21 at the Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 N. York St, Denver, in Mitchell Hall.
Doors open at 4PM, the Ceremony will begin at 5PM.
