ALG is an established Colorado nonprofit of 15 years created to serve the entire African immigrant community to help improve their quality of life. We do it through social, education and economic programs such as youth empowerment and public speaking classes reaching thousands of individuals. Every year during the month of August, we celebrate loudly and proudly the impact African immigrants have in the state of Colorado.

Homeownership & Financial Workshop | Registration is Open

Dear Community Members,
Please join us from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the African Leadership Group (ALG) Center, 10700 E. Evans Ave., Aurora, CO 80014 for the Homeownership & Financial Workshop.
One of ALG’s main goals is to help the community members learn about financial literacy, build generational wealth and become a homeowner. The workshop will be staffed by experts in mortgage lending, credit repair, down payment assistance, among other important financial literacy topics.
This workshop is intended to provide community members with one-on-one counseling with experts, to make the dream of owning a home closer to a reality.
We aim to help the community better themselves educationally, economically and financially.
