ALG is a Colorado nonprofit established in 2006 to serve the entire African immigrant community to help improve their quality of life. We do it through social, education and economic programs such as youth empowerment and public speaking classes reaching thousands of individuals. Every year during the month of August, we celebrate loudly and proudly the impact African immigrants have in the state of Colorado.

Dear Community Members,
Please join us from 2-6PM for a FREE Family BBQ and Homeownership & Financial Workshop on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the African Leadership Group (ALG) Center, 10700 E. Evans Ave., Aurora, CO 80014.
One of ALG’s main goals is to help the community members build generational wealth and become a homeowner. The workshop will be staffed with experts to discuss the following:
- Credit
- Fix & Flip
- Funding Resources
- Buying & Selling a Home
- Down Payment Assistance
- Purchasing & Refinancing
This workshop is intended to provide community members with one-on-one counseling with experts to make the dream of owning a home closer to a reality.
ALG aims to help the community better themselves educationally, economically and financially.
