ALG is a Colorado nonprofit established in 2006 to serve the entire African immigrant community to help improve their quality of life. We do it through social, education and economic programs such as youth empowerment and public speaking classes reaching thousands of individuals. Every year during the month of August, we celebrate loudly and proudly the impact African immigrants have in the state of Colorado.

Financial Literacy Five-Session Workshop
December 22, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The African Leadership Group has launched a five-session workshop for students to learn about banking, credit, budgeting, and how to pay for college. The workshops are led by college finance experts from Pacific Western Bank.
The workshops are held virtually on Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m., see schedule below:
Session 1: Thursday, November 17th – Bank On It
Session 2: Thursday, December 1st – Check It Out
Session 3: Thursday, December 8th – Setting Financial Goals
Session 4: Thursday, December 15th – Borrowing Needs
Session 5: Thursday, December 22nd – Paying for College
