ALG Day at the Capitol

African Leadership Group (ALG) Day at the Capitol
Please join the African Leadership Group (ALG) for a visit at the Colorado State Capitol, 200 East Colfax Avenue, Denver, CO 80203 on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM for a chance to experience the legislative process firsthand.
You will have an opportunity to:
- Observe the House and Senate from the floor
- Watch legislators in action at education, business, housing and transportation committee meetings
- Actively build relationships with legislators by meeting them face-to-face and speaking with them about your district’s successes, needs, or concerns.
- Tour the Capitol!
ALG’s saying, “If you are not at the table, you are on the menu.”
We encourage everyone to take a “Seat At The Table” and keep up your advocacy efforts by helping state lawmakers understand our legislative priorities and concerns.
