The African Leadership Group (ALG), on behalf of its Youth Empowerment Program, extends heartfelt thanks to Banc of California for a strong and enduring partnership.
On December 12, 2024 ALG Youth Empowerment participants had the opportunity to attend a financial literacy program focused on budgeting. Each student was provided with a $200 budget to shop for holiday gifts on Amazon, with a key lesson: they could not exceed their budget.
This engaging exercise quickly taught the students the challenges of managing a budget while addressing their needs. The experience offered valuable, hands-on insights into financial planning and decision-making.
At the end of the program, each student received a $200 gift card, provided by Banc of California. The participants expressed their excitement and gratitude for this thoughtful gift.
